The professor Jesús Velez Alonso from the University of Cádiz gave two conferences in Escuela Oficial de Idiomas San Roque on Friday 23rd February as part of our training. Teachers seek to improve and share their knowledge and abilities related to the Flipped Classroom and the use of Google classroom and the wide variety of apps that make this learning platform so powerful. The attendees enjoyed the event and had the opportunity of talking about their experiences in the classroom, pros and cons and the possibilities of improvement.
Related to the Flipped Classroom, the new method of teaching that is turning the classroom on its head, it was suggested to introduce the variety of apps provided: Flipped Armary, Flipgrid, Plickers, Blackboard, Puppet Pals, Tellagami, Touch Class, EdPuzzle, Stopmotion and Kahoot. We created new groups and added some new resources to our G-classroom and we also saw the benefits of integrating lesson planning and gradebook apps as Additio or iDoceo in Google classroom.
